A diversified multinational agriculture conglomerate has recently established an office in Spain for its commodities vertical. As a result, the company is growing quickly and is looking for an accounting and treasury analyst. This is a full-time role based in Madrid and will support and report directly to the country controller and financial manager of the vertical in question.The role will closely work with the country controller within the first 3-6 months and is then expected to be more independent.Tasks and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for reporting taxes and ensuring fiscal deadlines are met on a monthly and quarterly basis.Reviewing and posting invoices as well as analyzing and accruing for SG&A expenses.Understanding the business and supporting the financial manager with weekly treasury cashflow forecasts. Executing, allocating, and posting payments.Controlling account receivables and following up with counterparties to ensure timely payments. Weekly credit risk analysis is required.Bank reconciliations.Supporting the financial team with month-end closings. Analyzing intercompany, gross margin, and SGA entries as well as assisting with the balance sheet review.Required SkillsEducated to degree level in Business Administration, Finance, or any related field.At least 1-2 years of experience in Accounting, Treasury, Audit, or Finance.Previous experience at either multinational corporations or big four firms will be highly valued.Fluent in English and Spanish is required.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are mandatory.Able to work comfortably with numbers; attention to detail is an asset.Active listening, empathy, and high communication skills are key to understanding the business and following up with clients for due payments.Proactivity and an analytical profile are highly valued skills for continued growth within the company.What we offerDeveloping your career within a multinational accounting and financial environment.Permanent contract with a competitive salary.Tipo de puesto: Jornada completa, Contrato indefinidoHorario: Turno de 8 horas#J-18808-Ljbffr
