ROLE AND SCOPE
The HRBP works on defining, providing guidance, and administrating HR policies, laws, and programs within the Alira Health Group. They support the objectives and business challenges through effective HR and talent management solutions that ensure business growth and employee engagement and development.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Partnership and Customer Facing:
- Provides HR guidance to managers and employees. Answers questions and provides advice as needed. Understands manager and employee viewpoints and anticipates their needs and concerns. Directs managers/employees to ensure a smooth and great employee experience as appropriate to handle transactional-oriented requests for maximum efficiency. Ensures follow-up action plans are followed.Senior Compliance and Labor Advice:
- Ensures compliance with country employment laws and escalates any issues. Maintains knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices impacting human resources activities and incorporates them into work as appropriate. Investigates and/or advises/coaches managers on any claims, determines appropriate action, and documents in final reports. May review and coordinate dismissal or termination events and other separation agreements. Collaborates with and elevates to HR Director as appropriate.Project Management Lead:
- Provides project management from initiation through delivery and throughout the life of HR projects/programs. In collaboration with HR Director, implements HR programs/processes, including such activities as compensation planning, the roll-out of new learning and development initiatives, and other areas. Performs data analysis and develops recommendations that offer HR solutions. Leads programs to ensure good employee engagement practices are in place: local onboarding sessions, exit interviews, post onboarding interviews, etc.Develop & Implement Best in Class People Operations Practice:
- Ensures compliance with People Operations Practice and mitigates any future compliance risk. Escalates any issues. Pays constant attention to identifying opportunities to streamline HR Operational processes, recommending new ways of working that scale-up processes. Designs and maintains organization charts as business practice changes until we implement Workday.HR Administration:
- Ensures HR administration and payroll (outsourced) run smoothly for the country and acts as the first level of escalation for questions and support. Processes onboarding of new hires and coordinates with external providers for Spain and supports other offices. Maintains employee records and updates the diverse HR databases.
