The mission of Hope Church is to engage our unchurched neighbors of every age & ethnicity to experience Jesus.Our desire is to equip and build up the body of Christ (Eph 4:11-16) to affect our world through authentic participation in Worship, Community, Service & Generosity.General Description:Hope Church Memphis (EPC) is a multi-ethnic + inter-generational church with a passion for being Jesus-centered and un-churched friendly, while connecting all with spiritual growth opportunities.The Young Adult Director will serve a key role in developing a growing segment of our church (age 25-39) in both spiritual and practical seasons of life, creating opportunities to engage (outside the walls) and connect (inside the walls) within different ministries across Hope.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Oversee the growth and development of Hope's Young Adult Ministry by identifying, assimilating and facilitating spiritual and relational growth as well as genuine friendships among Young Adults.Serve as the primary point person and communicator for the Young Adult Leadership team.Be a strong advocate for Young Adult Ministry within the context of a large and diverse multi-staff church.Ability to lead creatively, energetically and effectively within large group, small group, one-on-one and digital environments.Manage the regular flow of work (communication, finances, coordinating with volunteers, scheduling, etc) required of a ministry leader.Other Responsibilities and Duties:Demonstrate a track record of professionalism, spiritual maturity and character as an example for young adults to follow.Have cross-cultural appeal and develop programming that connects with a diverse audience.Demonstrate a pattern of leadership (Calling, Competency, Character, Commitment).Perform other duties as assigned within the church and Adult Ministry Team.Available to work nights and weekends.Position Qualifications:Skills and experience requirements:Jesus-Follower: able and willing to grow in grace and knowledge.Self-motivated: ability to work independently toward goals within a team environment.Passionate: about discipleship, leadership development and personal and spiritual growth.Computer competency.Excellent verbal, written and digital communication skills.Minimum of 5 years vocational ministry experience, serving among and helping people grow.Education Requirements:College degree required.Application Deadline:08/16/2024Job Type:Full TimeSalary Range:TBDGeneral Information:Church/Organization Name:Hope Presbyterian ChurchContact Name & Contact Info:(901) 507-1932City, State:Cordova, TNDescription of Organization:Hope is a diverse church with people coming together from many different backgrounds to worship our God.
