Unit / Team
The CTO function is part of Information Technology Services and provides infrastructure, security, technical services, service management, and support services for the Atradius group and its customers. Within the CTO, the Cloud Competence Center is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Atradius enterprise landing zone and the middleware platforms associated, leading the onboarding of new services and the migration of the current on-premise loads.
Responsibilities
Team Management: All aspects of people management including setting goals and targets, reviewing, and measuring performance, scheduling workloads, and reporting on progress.
Technology Management: Making sure coherent plans and roadmaps are in place for all technologies within scope and that we fully exploit the capabilities and functionalities of the technologies to gain maximum value.
Supplier Management: Fully manage 3rd party suppliers for day-to-day service provision for Cloud IaaS and PaaS.
Budget Management: Manage the budget allocation, and ordering process to ensure all financial obligations are covered for the systems supported.
Cloud Architecture Authority: Design and sign-off of architectural decisions related to the cloud domain.
Operational Management: Ensure all systems are fully covered for operational support meeting Incident and Change SLAs, logging and monitoring, backup and recovery, operational reporting, 24x7 on-call support, operational documentation, and security compliance.
Project Support: Onboard application and development teams to the CCC providing guidance to setup the environment following the guidelines and best practices defined by the CCC.
The Cloud Manager is expected to build strong relationships across the other departments and teams of both the CTO and CIO organisations. The key technology areas supported and managed by the role include as a minimum:
Microsoft Azure landscape including LZ and AKS.
AWS and/or OCI experience is also appreciated.
Infrastructure as code.
Automation.
CICD.
High availability, backup, recovery.
Logging and monitoring.
Lead the Cloud Competence Center managing internal and external resources internationally spread. Ensure that the capacity and skills of the team are aligned with the demand. Lead, with the SA Architects in your team, the design and implementation of reliable Cloud infrastructures.
