We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic Certification Manager to join our team in Barcelona.
The Mission: Certification Manager is an essential role to help cross-functional product teams work effectively and efficiently.
The Certification Manager facilitates the process of Product Management, giving support to the product team and the wider organization through the sharing of resources and data between departments to enable the business to scale.
Specifically, within Worldsensing, the Certification Manager will own and manage the Certification of all Worldsensing Products for use within multiple territories worldwide.
Outcomes: The Certification Manager will establish himself as a key player in the organization and central point of contact for operational coordination of product and service delivery.
Specific outcomes will include:
A conclusive vendor selection for certification.Clear ownership of the certification process with an agreed prioritization of certification and process for modification of the prioritization.Deep understanding of the devices certification process worldwide to propose optimizations.A defined and well-understood knowledge management platform that encompasses tools, documentation, reporting, and processes.Responsibilities: Own and manage the certification of products between Engineering, Product Management, and external suppliers.Manage and control a yearly > 180k€ budget for product certification.Optimize and constantly improve the process of Product Certification between Worldsensing and the providers of certification worldwide.Manage a vendor selection process to select one or more Certification Authorities that provide the best value for money and time to market in delivering certifications.Manage the vendor relationships with Certification Authorities and with external suppliers of major product components, specifically in their certification.Participate in certification audits when required.Ensure compliance with the quality requirements related to the processes as defined in the company quality processes.Requirements: A strong aptitude for working in detail, analysis, and problem-solving - always seeking improvements.Track record of making decisions or recommendations based on data and analysis.A confident and self-assured communicator, excellent in interpersonal skills and team working/facilitation.Graduate degree in Engineering, preferably electric/electronics - RF knowledge is a plus.3+ years of work experience in a responsible position, projects, products, or vendors.Background of working in a technology company (software/Engineering/telco) and ideal experience within a product management team.Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits packageOpportunity for professional growth and developmentGreat work environment: we are a passionate, tight-knit team hailing from 20+ countriesWe are a family-friendly company and support a healthy work-life balance, we're outcome orientedWork-from-home policy (flexibility)We like grabbing lunch or a drink together, and coming together for fun events organized by WorldsensingWe love to learn and we love to share so you will actively participate in our knowledge sharing initiatives or transversal committees (communities, show and tell, etc.
