The Chief Director of Marketing & Sales of Canadian Adventure Charters Ltd is responsible for the success of the Corporation. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the CEO is responsible for creating and implementing a clear sense of direction for the Corporation and its related businesses by defining, communicating, and overseeing the Corporation's mission, goals, operating principles, and strategic actions. The role includes developing our luxury explore yacht charter platform, creating and building our brand/product and website, and establishing an online booking and shopping center. This position promotes Newfoundland & Labrador and The Northwest Passage at charter destinations within CAC's selected charter operations loop, including Newfoundland, Labrador, Northwest Passage, Spain, Canary Islands, Bahamas, and Fort Lauderdale. The aim is to build a charter yachting destination industry in Newfoundland & Labrador, establishing our yachting hub for various charter adventures, including submarine dive expeditions and underwater film/documentary entertainment focused on climate change/global warming research.REPORTING STRUCTURE: Reports to the Canadian Adventure Charters Board of Directors.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is the most senior management position in the Corporation, with responsibility for:Managing a successful portfolio of public trading corporations, private, and non-profit entities for a minimum of 15 years, working with Investor Relations (IR) Stakeholders, including networking with Fortune 500 companies.Overseeing a marketing and sales portfolio ranging from $50M to $500M annually.Managing all marketing initiatives, including creating marketing and sales plans, branding and management, digital marketing, advertising campaigns, event marketing, data management, public relations, and content creation.Promoting a positive corporate brand image and maintaining strong external communication with key stakeholders, including investors, clients, media, and the public.Working closely with other members of the executive team to align marketing strategies with overall company goals.Networking and scheduling annual events within the global events calendar for the ultra-wealthy.Building extensive networks in the luxury yachting and submersible industry, including yacht clubs, associations, marinas, boat shows, luxury yacht builders, and charter management companies.Overall management of the business, including strategic direction, preparation of agendas and background information for Board meetings, and its various committee meetings.Developing annual work plans, capital and operating budgets, and operational policies and procedures.Conducting market analysis and identifying opportunities in relation to the Corporation's mission.Ensuring compliance with corporate governance policies and procedures.Initiating, developing, and maintaining strategic relationships and networks with key stakeholders.
