The Global Operations team has a flat management structure and we are organized into different functional areas, working in synergy to make Paack operations efficient, reliable and effective.
The Systems team is part of the Operational Excellence Department, within Global Operations, which behaves as the internal stakeholders for local operations teams and the IT one.
About the job
Reporting to the Operational Excellence - Systems Manager, you will participate on scoping, defining and building products to solve operational needs.
Being a Point of contact between Local Ops and Product / Engineering, you will help standardise operational processes that require development in our systems across all countries Paack is operating. Our hubs are in main cities like Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, and London.
Your main duties include: Understand all current processes, with a special focus on the aspects related to our systems, and identify potential weaknessesDefine operational product requirements to be developed on our system, working together with the Product/Engineering and Local Ops departmentsMonitor the status of these projects, identify potential barriers and bottlenecks and come up with solutions to overcome themGive visibility on a weekly basis to all stakeholders involved in these projects.Report weekly major issues and potential improvements to the Operations Excellence Systems ManagerGather feedback from operations managers and define developments prioritizationMonthly visits to other warehouses and specialized events to gather new ideasPartner with Continuous improvement and Implementation Operational Excellence Teams, ensuring all products are effectively executed across all countries Paack operates. Who are we looking for?
