We believe that creating opportunities for our people to develop their skills is crucial to our growth and success.If you are inspired by changing the lives of patients all over the world, we'd love to hear from you.About the RoleWe are looking for an Associate Director or Director, Project Management (AD / DPM) to oversee project delivery operations for key accounts and partnerships;provide business development assistant to achieve target revenue and profitability while ensuring the contracted services and expectations for all projects are delivered by the project teams in accordance with executed contracts and Sponsors' expectations.The AD / DPM will also have line management and resourcing responsibilities for project directors and all levels of project management.What will your job look like?- Project Oversight : Ensures study launch, conduct, and closeout align with sponsor and company agreements- Quality and Compliance : Maintains study progress according to internal, Sponsor quality standards, SOPs, GCPs, and ICH guidelines, meeting all federal and local regulations- Resource Management : Forecasts, prioritizes, and directs staff to meet on-time deliverables with quality- Cross-functional Collaboration : Works with teams on proposal development, pricing, and operational strategies; attends bid defense meetings with Business Development- Financial Oversight : Manages financial aspects of projects including contracts, change orders, forecasting, and invoicing- Mentorship and Leadership : Mentors project staff in leadership, sponsor management, and project-specific tasks; supports team building and communication- Risk and Issue Management : Troubleshoots project difficulties, manages escalations, and supports risk assessment and mitigation to ensure patient safety and data integrity- Corporate and Departmental Involvement : Participates in corporate initiatives, risk review meetings, and represents Project Management in regional or business activities- Stakeholder Relationships :Maintains senior management-level relationships with Sponsors and supports Change Management- Line Management : Acts as line manager, conducts performance reviews, mentors new and junior members, and participates in SOP development and reviewWhat will you need to succeed?- Requires a BA / BS in life sciences or equivalent, with extensive clinical research experience in a CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotech company- Prior cross-functional project management and line management experience in the clinical trial industry are essential- Must have Pharma / CRO experience including client relationship management and thorough knowledge of regulations, drug development, and clinical monitoring procedures.- Proficiency with ICH / GCP guidelines is required- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to manage multiple tasks within a dynamic projectized matrix team environment while ensuring on-time, quality project delivery- Requires strong presentation, documentation, and interpersonal skills, with a team-oriented approach- Demonstrates mature management skills, proactive problem-solving, sound judgment, and decision-making.- Ability to manage projects in culturally diverse settings and apply this knowledge to manage relationships and team dynamics- Strong leadership skills to align team goals with company objectives, manage client expectations, and consistently deliver proactive, solution-oriented client management- Ability to mentor and develop team members, understand financial management, and possess strong communication and presentation skillsWhat will you get in return?We want you to do your best work!
