The Yield Manager works in tandem and supports the DM on commercially related tasks, helping to ensure G2 Travel has the most competitive offering.
The role is based locally and reports into a Regional Manager.Key Activities:Partner internally with the Destination Manager to achieve a high-quality collaboration, sharing information, strategies and by driving high levels of efficiency.Auditing static and margin contracts from a commercial perspective to ensure optimum set-up and competitiveness.Auditing margin contracts from a technical perspective to ensure hotels are open and selling at all times to maximise sales.Perform competitive analysis by doing rate shops comparing G2 rates against B2B and B2C partners to understand hotel strategy on promos and rates.Analysis of reports to identify possible weak spots / errors in the contracted conditions.Regular face to face meetings with hotel suppliers to build a strong commercial relationship, and to negotiate special offers / promotions.Renegotiating contract conditions to maximise availability at the best possible commercials.Obtaining extra availability from suppliers and ensuring that hotels are proactively adding availability via the extranet.Negotiate book-outs and general issues with suppliers as requested by DM.Assist with basic training initiatives as required – E.g.

Able to work to deadlines independently in a fast-paced environment.Excellent written and verbal communication with robust verbal and written English.IT proficiency including a sound working knowledge of Microsoft office, in particular excel.Previous experience within a commercial role such as sales or purchasing within the tourism industry.
