Our client is a leading global mining company with advanced metallurgical products, serving diverse industries including energy, technology, healthcare, and aerospace.

With 25 operating sites worldwide, they combine state-of-the-art technology, reliable raw materials, and exceptional customer service to deliver best-in-class quality and innovation.

We are seeking recently graduated Engineers to join their International Graduate Engineers Program.

Join their International Graduate Program and embark on an exciting journey that offers a unique opportunity to work within a global structure and gain comprehensive experience across various engineering fields within the company.

This position is initially based in Sabon, Spain.

It will be a 21-month program and you will relocate to Canada, the US, or South Africa within the scope of the program.

The scope of the program:

Year 1:

Home Base Onboarding (Local & Global MT Onboarding) (3 months)International Assignment (Relocation to South Africa, US or Canada) (9 months)1st Job RotationProject Delivery to the MTTech & Innovation Project Assignment, Onboarding & Initiation (3 weeks on site)
Year 2:

Responsibilities:

In this program,
You'll be working closely with personnel at all levels to become a subject matter expert in departmental products and processes.Installing and maintaining system BOM's & Routers for all products.Supporting projects, as assigned, to help develop new products and/or processes.Participating in the APQP process, approving new products and processes.Supporting in modification of processes and products.Planning and supervising the correct course of the statistical process control.Working together with all the peers and customers.Engaging and leading lean manufacturing activities focused on Visual Factory, streamlined material flow, waste reduction, and inventory minimization.Generating and executing continuous improvement projects targeted to reduce waste, improve product quality, and increase efficiency.Maintaining documented standards systems for the department.Developing and conducting technical training for the furnace team as required for safe and effective operation.Assume a leading role in process improvement as well as coordinating quality and cost-reduction efforts.
Requirements:
Bachelor's / Masters degree in engineering (mining, mechanical, electrical, metallurgical).Fluent English (French and Spanish is a plus).International mindset or eagerness to be a citizen of the world.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong planning and organizational skills.Ability to work collaboratively across varying departments to implement continuous improvement initiatives.Six sigma, lean manufacturing, or 5S training or experience is a plus.Demonstrated experience with quality systems and process optimization is a plus.A first successful experience in an industrial environment (internship, work-study, graduate program) is a plus.
