The Role:Manage the service center operations to support business and quality objectives.
How you will make an Impact:Manage and oversee the work of assigned service center team.Drive a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, engage staff morale, and ensure employees' safety.Take action and be proactive to ensure the service center achieves and/or exceeds Technical Service Center operations metrics (e.g., cycle times, backlog, spare parts inventory levels) while ensuring tactical execution of business objectives with cross-functional teams.Manage plant operations including execution of annual operating plan while maintaining adequate line capacity and resolving diverse issues to meet cost and quality targets.Develop a robust talent development plan in alignment with functional growth strategies of the department.Negotiate solutions with cross-functional groups (e.g., Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations Engineering) for continuous improvement.Manage technical service project activities (e.g., BEx initiatives and global technical service projects) with accountability for successful completion of all deliverables to the business within established schedule, scope, and quality objectives.Identify risk, develop mitigation strategies, alternative solutions, and resolve issues in collaboration with cross-functional groups.Partner with management on the execution and planning for the Annual Operating Plan.Other incidental duties. What you will need:Bachelor's Degree in a related field with work experience and demonstrated track record in technical service operations management (Required). Master's Degree or equivalent in a related field of work experience with demonstrated track record in technical service operations management (Preferred).
What else we look for:Proven successful project management leadership skills.Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel and manufacturing systems (e.g., JDE).Excellent documentation, communication skills, and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with the ability to drive achievement of objectives.Knowledge and understanding of Six Sigma/Lean principles preferred.
