The Ventures Startup Consultant | Sustainable Fashion will be responsible for working alongside one of the largest fashion brands globally and advising startups in the sustainable fashion space. This person will be leading technical and business advisory services for helping sustainable fashion startups scale their business and technologies. This person will work with innovative startups developing first-of-a-kind technology such as new textiles, recycling solutions, and more. Responsibilities will include having a deep understanding of the company (team, market, technology, business model, etc.), creating roadmaps for overcoming barriers to reach key milestones, and creatively generating value aligned with the startups' growth goals.Essential Job Functions (not limited to)Startup Due Diligence: Gaining a deep understanding of Seed to Series B stage startups in the sustainable fashion, new textiles, recycling space, and more.Develop an understanding of technical innovations at a fundamental level.Understand technical barriers and technical needs for scaling the company.Understand business models, pricing, and unit economics to provide insights on economic feasibility and scalability.Market research and trends influencing sustainability fashion startups.Advisory and Consulting: Generate a roadmap for startups on how they scale their business to reach key milestones required for commercial adoption.Provide technical and business insights for scaling deeptech companies.Create summary reports and presentations for startups.Generate and execute on ideas for bringing value to startups to help them scale.Build and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs.Build networks with relevant industry stakeholders.Ventures' Corporate Account Management: Schedule check-in calls between startups and corporate partners.Maintain relationships with industry partners.Attend and lead regular alignment calls with corporate clients.Perform additional operational work for Plug and Play Ventures as needed.Client Management: Understanding client needs and organize and plan work accordingly
