As a Power System Simulation Engineer, you will contribute to the definition and development of the Traction Flow Load Analysis in Rail Systems Major Projects.
Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered.Identifies discrepancies in results.Provides guidance to entry level engineers.Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision.Here, you will have freedom to grow in a world of opportunity.
Minimum Requirements5 years or more of relevant experience will be preferred.Previous experience will be valued if related to the following rail system fields, and skills:CAD capabilitiesKnowledge on other railway systems (signaling, communications)Knowledge on railways EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility)Knowledge on system assurance and RAMSKnowledge on additional languages3 years of relevant experience in Rail SystemsExperience in traction power simulations in AC and DC systemsExperience in the use of load flow studies calculation toolsFamiliar with railway related standards (EN50122, EN50149, EN60163, EN50182, EN50328, EN50329, EN50388) or IEC equivalentExperience in MATLAB programmingSpanish and English languages professional proficiencyPreferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree or equivalentWhat We OfferWe will give you the flexibility you need to do your best work with hybrid work options.
