As a Mobile Private Network Senior (MPN) Access Design Engineer , you´ll be in charge of the following responsibilities: Provide high level design of the Access Network for MPN
Define the reference RAN configurations for MPN products, including MPN specific SW functionalities.
Support process definition for the delivery of customised solution in collaboration with VBPS and ND
Define MPN specific Radio configurations for the Vodafone RAN suppliers
Define the optimal parameterisation to maximise network performance, in collaboration with the RAN optimisation teams in Mobile Access and ND
Manage technical acceptance and life cycle of the RAN configuration and related SW functionalities, including the correct interworking with MPN/market specific core/TX design.
What do you bring? Good awareness of wider technology aspects in telecommunications and ICT
IP networking expert
Very good knowledge of 3GPP Radio Protocols and mobility procedure
Inter-functional relationships
Ability to meet the deadline and project definitions, supported by good decision making skills
Knowledge of radio access technologies (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G)
Knowledge of networking techniques, with main reference to IP
Knowledge of radio equipment and sw functionalities and parameter
Knowledge of 3GPP protocols
Management of complex customised solutions
