Essential Responsibilities:Facilitate principles of diversity and decision making in the talent selection process.Document interactions, outreach, and screening results.Provide information on total compensation and other programs, as part of the employee value proposition.Act as a champion and coordinator for the campus recruiting efforts, both as a source of talent and opportunity to educate audiences about the firm.Develop social media and event-based recruiting opportunities to identify applicants and secure referrals.Contribute in a significant fashion to the applicant tracking system (ATS) or related operational procedures.Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Knowledge of recruiting and talent acquisition best practices including sourcing.Fundamental investment concepts, practices, and procedures used in the securities industry is an asset.Skill in using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), experience using Taleo is preferred.Communicating ideas clearly and concisely in an open and honest manner.Responsiveness and efficiency, aiming to exceed client expectations.Ability to work within deadlines in a high-volume and demanding environment while maintaining a high level of service and an imperative attention to detail.Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.Demonstrate a professional manner to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.Exercise tact and discretion in the handling of confidential information.Exercise curiosity by learning new concepts, technology, and processes with minimum instructions or independently.Communicate proficiently in French.Work flexible hours in order to support recruitment nationally is preferred.Educational/Previous Experience Requirements:Degree or diploma with specialization in Human Resources Management or the equivalent.At least 2 years recruiting experience, preferably in the financial services industry or in a professional business environment.Licenses/Certifications:Successful completion of, or willingness to complete, the CPHR designation or similar.We sincerely thank all applicants who express an interest in this role.
