The Associate Director is responsible for providing oversight to Strategic Resourcing Solutions Teams ensuring management support in meeting operational and financial deliverables according to customer requirements and contractual obligations. He/She will ensure projects are resourced and are pro-actively managed to ensure key milestones are achieved and studies are performed within budget, on schedule and in compliance with the appropriate compliance and quality standards.What can we offer you? TFS is a place for inspiration where we focus on the patients, saving lives and aiming to increase their quality of life by supporting our clients.Responsibilities:Line management of assigned staff within Strategic Resourcing Solutions.Participate in resource planning and staff allocation discussions to ensure that project teams are appropriately resourced during all phases of a project.Ensure assigned staff achieve expected quality compliance standards by providing appropriate oversight.Collect and analyze delivery and performance metrics.Provide pro-active guidance and direction to assigned staff around site selection, site management, site monitoring, site close out and customer management to assist in service delivery and professional development.Support staff with resolution of significant site issues and development of recruitment strategies and contingencies.Participate in Recruitment and induction of new staff with Human Resources, directed by the Director, Site Management.Provide technical expertise and Site Management support to assigned staff.Ensure staff are appropriately qualified and trained by providing input to training plans, coaching and mentoring of assigned staff and assisting in the delivery of training.Together with the Director, Site Management to ensure assigned budgets are managed, profitability is maintained and invoicing is performed on time and in accordance with the scope of work.Identify and escalate issues as appropriate within the organization.May participate in proposal and budget development for new business opportunities.May participate in bid defense meeting preparations in partnership with Business Development and Senior Operations staff.Participate in global process improvement initiatives.May have responsibility for own assigned project(s) and customers.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree, preferably in life science or nursing; or equivalent.Minimum 5 years of industry experience within clinical research, including at least 3 years onsite monitoring.Thorough knowledge of the clinical drug development process.Thorough knowledge of GCP/ICH Guidelines and other applicable regulatory requirements.Good organizational skills.Good verbal and communication skills.Demonstrated ability to lead and line manage staff.Excellent customer service skills.Sound judgement and decision making skills.Good organization and problem solving skills.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and customers.Ability and willingness to travel.TFS HealthScience collects and processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
