and we partner with executives, managers and employees throughout all levels of the organization.
The Employee and Labor Relations Business Partner (ELRBP) provides guidance and mentorship regarding employee and labour relations matters to leaders, managers, employees, and our People team throughout our organisation.
The ELRBP helps ensure the legal compliance, adherence to, and consistent application of Apple policies and practices.
This work is accomplished through strong collaboration with multiple partners and functions across Apple.
This is a remote role, so we are happy to consider applications from candidates based anywhere in Spain.
Description Employee Relations Responsibilities
Support all levels of Leadership, Employees, People and Corporate Partners with understanding Apple Policies and Local Legislation where relevant.
Identify, analyse and implement resolutions to complex and sensitive employee relations issues.
Lead and conduct investigations regarding potential misconduct and policy violations.
Develop, communicate and implement company-wide employee relations programs, policies, and procedures.
Collaborate with and influence all levels of management regarding critical and complex employee relations decisions.
Evaluate and review employee-related decisions in response to employee concerns.
Support Crisis Management Team response as needed.
Coordinate and deliver locally relevant ELR Training.
Coordinate and lead responses to government labour or employment related audits, information requests and inspections.
Use ER metrics with clients to highlight trends and develop strategies to foster positive ER in the business and mitigate risk.
Support ER projects/initiatives as needed.
Social Representation Responsibilities
Manage the social representation agenda in partnership with the Employee Relations Leader (mandatory meetings, negotiations, elections, etc.
).
Support WC electoral processes.
Analyse and provide guidance regarding the implementation of key company initiatives through information sharing, consultation, and negotiation activities.
Prepare information/consultation documentation to support discussion with social partners.
Prepare the relevant guidance for Leadership and other key partners in case of serious LR situations.
Support local leaders with social partners' queries/demands.
Coordinate and deliver locally relevant Labour Relations Training.
Minimum Qualifications
- Fully fluent knowledge of Spanish Language
- Substantial employee and labour relations experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of local employment laws and regulations
- Experienced in balancing multiple priorities, stakeholders and work streams across markets
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, including the ability to organise, plan, and prioritise tasks
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt flexibly to different situations
- Demonstrated command skills and an ability to influence others
- Proven ability to build strong partnerships and work collaboratively
- Exceptional communication skills including effective listening, writing and presentation
