This position will provide timely and accurate warehousing and retrieval of materials needed for production and key support services through the safe operation of the automated storage and retrieval system (AS/RS).Key Responsibilities:Operate the AS/RS in a safe and responsible manner to prevent injury to personnel or damage to equipment.Utilize SAP on a daily basis for all transactions into and out of the AS/RS.Transport retrieved material to designated destination areas safely and timely.Verify the accuracy of part numbers and quantities for items entering and leaving the AS/RS.Perform periodic cycle counts with internal and external auditors.Complete related logs and documentation as required.Respond timely to requests for non-production or special items stored in the AS/RS.Participate in the annual physical inventory and related audit activities.Understand and adhere to current health, safety, and environmental policies.What We're Looking For:Completion of high school or equivalent.Possession of a current, valid powered industrial truck operator's license.Ability to communicate verbally and maintain concise written documentation.Effective listening skills.Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook.Must have scored a 3 or higher on the most recent performance evaluation.Safety: This position will adhere to the BorgWarner Environmental Health and Safety Program by following all safety rules, procedures, and practices.
