Company Overview Role Overview: Working as a key member of the purchasing department, as a Purchasing Support, you will be responsible for supporting activities within the advanced team to ensure the achievement of the saving target, as well as developing and implementing strategies for supplier management.
Working within the Advanced team and reporting directly to the Advanced Purchasing Manager, this position will be based in Valls, Tarragona.
Main Responsibilities:
Manage/Load/Extract data from different systems - SRM (AS400), SAP, Office, SEM (Technical Data Base)Support the different Commodities in RFQ's and quoting components in SRMPerform Capacity ChecksManage PH (Homologation Parts)Maintain system data, Blanket Orders, Price Variation ReportsParticipate in task forces to support fulfilling key enquiriesCreate and maintain Excel templates for daily work, combining inputs from different data bases and automating tasksKey Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree - Business, Economics, Supply Chain or Engineering DegreeFluent English skillsGood communication skills in cross-functional teamsAnalytical SkillsTeam playerAdvanced Excel user, VBA programming is a mustUser of Microsoft Power Package (BI, Query, Apps)Great organizational skillsPrevious experience in the automotive industry might be a plus
