We release value from data - all the way from Discovery to Insights.In addition to partnering with teams across the business to develop solutions, scale and automate data pipelines, Data & Analytics Chapter members are uniquely placed to connect the dots across initiatives, promote information sharing across domains and recommend re-use of data, analytics and solutions wherever possible.We are looking for a Data Management & Governance specialist who will join us in the newly setup Integrated Informatics for a journey to drive and promote efficient and effective information management throughout the organisation.The Data Management & Governance specialist must be the big-picture thinker who understands the value of data to the organisation and the importance of good information management practices including information lifecycle management, information modelling, master data management and business requirements gathering.In this position you are responsible for improving business performance and cost optimization through the use of business glossaries, information models, repositories and flows to meet the requirements of the business strategies and business processes.The Opportunity:You will work on various aspects of Data management and governance including but not limited to:Driving and taking the lead in identifying information value opportunities through strategic discussions with Senior Business and IT Leaders as needed and provides decision support.Acting as the Informatics representative to define Information and Data Strategies as part of an overall Business Strategy.Identifying areas for improvement in terms of information flows and structure, automation, information representation and advising project teams in best practice and implementation.Improving the overall quality of the enterprise data assets through the effective application of best practice in information design
