Description:UVic-UCC is a young and very dynamic university in Central Catalonia, with a special commitment to innovative research and internationalization.The Faculty of Education, Translation, Sport and Psychology is starting a recruitment process to incorporate a researcher on social sciences with further knowledge on youth studies, educational democracy and participation, and public policy.Functions and Duties:Within the framework of a research project in collaboration with the Catalan Youth Agency of the Generalitat de Catalunya, we propose the elaboration of a study on the state of the question on 'Education in and for the participation of adolescents and young people'. The aim is to collect documentation on the subject, systematise it, organise it, and draw conclusions and recommendations.To analyse and systematise the legislative framework on how education in and for the participation of young people in Catalonia and Europe is provided.To contribute to the construction of a conceptual framework on participation and democracy in secondary schools centred around the concept of educating for participation.To collect and analyse some relevant Catalan practices and to do so in terms of competence, participation, and community.To contribute to proposing key axes which, based on research, should be incorporated into public policies to promote youth participation.#J-18808-Ljbffr
