As a Strategy & Consulting Product & Platform Advisor for Retail, you will drive client discussions on core industry strategic value levers and broad ecosystem actors, combined with the ability to drive core cross-functional strategy discussions.
You will provide strategic advice to clients on the value that platform business models can unlock as part of business transformations to tap into alternative sources of top line growth opportunities beyond the current business.
Your responsibilities will include defining platform powered strategies and operating models to lead the next wave of enterprise-wide transformations, continuously refining the platform narrative within your specialized industry, and keeping up to date with the latest industry ecosystem/technology trends and how they impact our client's business.
You will work in a multi-services team for both sales and project delivery activities. By working closely with the client account teams and technology services teams, you will provide industry advice and contribute to generating Product & Platform deals and delivering projects.
You will establish yourself as a thought leader and develop differentiating industry point-of-views with regards to platform business models, and connect with our ecosystem partners (e.g., hyperscalers, SaaS solutions providers) to shape joint industry-led go-to-market initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience in strategy or management consulting, with a focus on the conception and delivery of new business models & top line growth opportunities in B2C and B2B with Digital at its core.
Deep expertise within Retail and how technology can transform sales, distribution, and demand/supply matching.
Strong understanding of platform business models, respective use cases, and the value it can drive for clients.
Strong interest and curiosity to constantly scan for platform business model opportunities and initiate client discussions.
A good understanding of industry specific offerings of hyperscalers (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and/or platform providers (e.g., RedHat, Salesforce, Oracle, SAP).
Strong consulting skills from analytical and problem-solving skills, communication skills, client engagement skills, to broad transformation program delivery skills.
Fluent in English.
