Invent a greener and more secured mobility, thanks to solutions focusing on intuitive driving and reducing CO2 emissions.We are leaders in our business and recognized as one of the largest global innovative companies.Valeo Group is one of the world's largest automotive suppliers, focused on innovative products, development, and customer satisfaction.Working with us means managing the most advanced and sophisticated technologies.Our Martos plant is one of the biggest sites within our Visibility Systems Business Group, responsible for developing and manufacturing Lighting Products and Electronics.From the latest adaptive lighting technologies to intuitive interior lighting solutions to stylish and design-centric external lighting, Valeo constantly innovates to improve comfort and safety for drivers and passengers alike.Your Mission and Responsibilities:Mission:The G / L Accountant Leader provides timely, reliable, and valuable financial information for each legal entity managed by the team.She/He ensures compliance of financial information (for tax and statutory accounts purposes) with local GAAPs and IFRS.Responsibilities:Executing subsequent operations in the accounting system (unblocking for payment, payments processing, items clearing, etc.)Recording accounting transactions in the assigned area according to local law and MAF standards.Monthly/Yearly closing preparation including supporting documentation for local tax returns.Primary document requirements check (MAES) & verify consistency between legal entities inside the perimeter.Prepare and ensure accurate reporting in GPS of RS and tax package.Supervise complete accounting ledgers (receivables, payables, fixed assets, general, analytical trend review).Prepare statutory accounts and monthly financial reporting in line with IFRS.Ensure monthly closing files/closing binder elaboration with appropriate supporting documentation.Review Closing binder with Site Financial Controller and establish/review action plan inside SSC (with AP/AR, Tax).Coordinate information on all changes in local regulation principles regarding accounting and taxes if needed.Control and manage all payroll entries & accruals and payroll interface in SAP.Ensure accurate documentation of all provisions and employee benefits (pensions).Reconcile IFRS and Statutory equity.Prepare and ensure relevant documentation for external auditors and tax inspection.Ensure accurate monthly tax declaration (VAT; customs & duties) if not done by the Tax department.VAT returns preparation and processing if required.Communication with partners (external and internal).Review with SAS assets activation (MAF lifetime, follow-up of assets in progress activation).E-proc requests approving (check of account number)
