General Description: The Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) is seeking a Corporate Communications Officer.
Our mission is to lead, from the vantage point of molecular science, cross-strategies for solving major social and economic challenges, such as climate change and sustainable supply of energetic and raw materials, thereby contributing to the establishment of a knowledge-based economy and improving citizens' quality of life in our influence area.General Responsibility: The general responsibility of the Communications Officer is the overseeing and coordination of the Corporate Communication strategy following the goals and strategic lines described in ICIQ's Strategic Plan and Severo Ochoa Programme.Responsibilities:To establish and drive a multi-channel communications strategy to strengthen the national and international recognition of ICIQ, as well as to manage the corporate image of the Institute.To enhance ICIQ's online presence through the creation of the Institute's new website and to define and develop a comprehensive online communications strategy.To manage and enhance internal communication.To generate content about ICIQ and its Research Lines (annual report, booklets, brochures, and other informative material).To assist in the preparation of proposals for obtaining funds for outreach activities at ICIQ.To assist in the creation of digital, video, audio, and print content as well as with media relations.To manage ICIQ's presence at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.To organise and perform ICIQ tours for institutional visits.To create a crisis management plan.To transmit the importance of frontier research in chemistry and to project a positive company image to the public.#J-18808-Ljbffr
