About the jobThe API Architect works within the API team under the CTO of ASEE and Payten group. You will work in a highly dynamic environment across country and organizational boundaries. This technology and people leadership role involves understanding the banking business domain, aligning views of different stakeholders, and supporting the delivery of a diverse portfolio of products.
Good API design is a challenging task. Like the architect that drafts the plans for a house, you would be responsible for designing and evolving our API Standard. You would guide the creation of APIs, the development of guidelines and tools required to meet the highest standards in API design.
About youYou are a good fit if you have:
Experience in writing API specifications and technical documentation.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or equivalent experience.7 years of experience in software engineering.Nice to haveExperience working with diverse, cross-functional teams composed of both technical and non-technical members.Knowledge of REST, EDA and Microservices.Knowledge of banking domain and BIAN Service Landscape.Past working experience in an architect or tech lead role.Past working experience on API Management.Experience working across teams and collaborating with other colleagues, supporting them when possible.A track record of constantly looking for ways to do things better and an excellent understanding of the mechanism necessary to successfully implement change.Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way.
