Build38 is an international company, with Head Quarters in Munich, a Sales office in Singapore, and a Tech Hub in Barcelona.We are looking for an exceptional, self-directed Product Owner to drive and manage the delivery of our products and features.Responsibilities:Understand customer and developer needs, gathering requirements, managing feature backlogs, defining release plans, and working with other teams (such as Sales and Marketing) to deliver these features.Deeply understand the needs of current and target customers and developers through quantitative and qualitative customer research.Represent the voice of the customer and developer community to internal teams.Work with cross-functional teams and prioritize features and investments to maximize customer benefit.Create, execute, and communicate the scrum team backlog to achieve the goals.Own the product backlog and prioritize product enhancements, customer, and internal requests.Collaborate with the Scrum Team to deliver valuable product increments.Manage features through their entire lifecycle, from requirements definition to release.Keep up with industry trends, technology, and competitors.Who are you?There is no set route to become part of Build38. But to be successful in this role, this is the kind of profile we have in mind:At least 2 years of experience as a Product Owner in a SCRUM team.A solid understanding of the product development lifecycle and product management processes.Bachelor's or Master's degree or relevant experience in Computer Science, Technology, or similar.Excellent written and spoken English.Familiarity with general programming languages and concepts.Ideally, experience defining cybersecurity products.Understanding of software development industry standard frameworks (Agile, Design thinking, OKRs, etc.) is also desirable.Great team player, comfortable working and collaborating with other team members.Excellent prioritization skills.Ability to make recommendations and decisions independently.Passion for and ability to understand customer needs and deliver great solutions.
