Proclinical are recruiting an Associate Director, Medical Information Spain for a biotech establishment. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in Madrid. The client is focused on producing, developing and commercialising medicines for those who suffer from severe illnesses.ResponsibilitiesUphold core product reference literature and needed critical competitor and disease literature references.Collaborate with the publication function to recognise prospects to produce and display meaningful data at medical congresses within Spain.Partake in the development, evaluation and precision of medical affairs slide decks, scientific Q&As, backgrounders, white papers, etc.Facilitate in the development of an organised one voice approach to shareholder engagement.Other duties may be assigned to this role.Key Skills and RequirementsEducated to a PhD degree level within a pertinent field.At least 5+ years of experience in scientific communications, with at least 2 of those years in medical information.At least 5+ years of experience within a biotech/pharmaceutical organisation in a medical affair and/or clinical research and development role or similar.Comprehension of Spain specific healthcare regulatory setting linked to medical practice and pharmaceutical corporations.Willing to travel for business needs up to 25% of the time mainly for medical congresses.Proclinical is a specialist employment agency and recruitment business, providing job opportunities within major pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies.
