WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING SANTANDER ONE EUROPE is the regional team in charge of creating growth and value for Santander across Spain, UK, Portugal, and Poland. It leverages the countries' experience and takes them to a European model that maximizes synergies and improves customers' and employees' lives. The One Europe Product Transformation Office (PTO) is charged with working with all four countries to transform the product experience of customers using an agile, collaborative, and customer-centred approach to designing and delivering products and services. The PTO leads many of One Europe's flagship initiatives across retail products such as Cards, Accounts, Home Ecosystem, SME, and ESG.
We are seeking a Program Lead to join the Product Transformation Office to participate in projects that will drive the transformation of Santander EU products and our relationship with customers. The Program Leads achieve this by helping countries to deploy global and local projects, always pursuing efficiencies while delivering a world-class customer experience.
What you would be doing: Accountability for defining and executing projects in high-priority initiatives such as Everyday Banking, Homes, Cards & UPLs, and SMEs, and help push forward One Europe's transformation agenda.Developing a customer-centric strategy, priorities, and plan using internal input, customer insights, market/competitor analytics, and country priorities.Managing an execution plan (including budget and resources) in collaboration with country stakeholders, Flagship Product Owners, and local and regional squads.Implementing the Regional Business Owner (RBO) model with all that this entails - governance, regional structure and organisation, creating and optimizing new processes aligned with local country roadmaps, definition of OKRs, facilitating the creation of a backlog of regional initiatives.Leading a hypothesis-driven design methodology to enable rapid experimentation and customer empathy throughout the ideation and development stage of the products.Measuring impact (to business and customer metrics) and proposing initiatives based on learnings from analytics and customer feedback.Communicating progress and next steps to Regional Business Owner (RBO) and country teams, PTO team, and senior management.Facilitating best practice sharing and adoption amongst countries through organizing sharing sessions and workshops.What we are looking for: Experienced professional (5+ years of experience) with a passion for customers and product design/delivery.Creative and data-driven problem solver, proactive in overcoming challenges and engaging diverse stakeholders.Role model in customer-led strategy and product development, growth mindset, hungry to learn and grow.Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders and lead self and others through change.Results orientation, demonstrates and measures impact.Self-starter, with strong team collaboration.Fluent in English and Spanish.Desired Experience: A background in consulting, digital transformation, and innovation would be desired (but not mandatory). Previous experience in delivering digital products and services using agile and customer-centric design methodologies.
