Responsibilities of the Job HolderYou will be accountable for the design and analysis of aircraft aerodynamic configuration using theoretical, numerical (CFD), and experimental (wind tunnel & flight test) methods of the line products of Airbus Commercial and Research and Technology projects.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include: Aerodynamic configuration and detailed design of external aerodynamic shapes.Aerodynamic analysis using CFD tools, Wind Tunnel, and Flight Test data.Participate in CAD activities to generate aero shapes, being part of multidisciplinary constraints negotiations within Airbus (Future Projects, Specific Design, Systems installation).Manage CFD and associated post-processing to assess design and build aerodynamic models.Manage Wind Tunnel Testing when necessary.Ensure Flight Test Preparation, follow-up in telemetry room, and data analysis.Ensure regular communications to the Programmes and R&T stakeholders.Ensure proper aerodynamic support to Production and In-Service A/C.Monitor subcontracted activities if necessary.Required SkillsApplicants must have an aeronautical engineering Master degree.Experience in geometry generation with CATIA V5.CFD Experience.Programming skills in Python and/or Matlab.You show an interest in pioneering the use of the latest technologies such as artificial intelligence, data analytics, and model-based systems engineering.You must have a good level of communication in English.Your positivity and motivation enthuse your team.
