Our building services engineers are at the forefront of their discipline for the design of the mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) systems required for the safe, comfortable and environmentally friendly operation of buildings.
We embrace world class methodologies and technologies, including information rich Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), to facilitate more efficient ways of working and design at all stages of the project life-cycle.
Our team, as part of the continued growth of our business, is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to support the plan, and who is looking to further develop their experience in delivering multi-disciplinary projects.
These projects span a diverse range of construction sectors including among others, Industrial, Healthcare, Education, Leisure, Aviation, Commercial and Defence.
Working within a dynamic, highly motivated and driven team, you will be part of our project delivery, mentor our junior staff and develop our future engineers.
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will contribute to the winning, management and delivery of moderate to large scale projects.
Responsibilities: Complete Electrical power and lighting designs for projects of all sizes;Make major design recommendations and design decisions with input from senior staff;Plan design work, calculate costs, and time schedules to assign design duties to junior staff working on projects;Maintain accurate project documentation and design data for permanent project files;Act as an adviser and review correspondence prepared by junior project team members;Evaluate project staffing requirements, analyze problems, and write reports;Attend project meetings, or when appropriate, delegate activities;Assist in project checking for quality control on other projects;Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of technical plans and drawings;Ability to switch between work on multiple/different projects daily;Self-motivated with strong work ethic and take pride in your work.
