Job SummaryContribute to design development, design risk and mitigation, and value engineering regarding Low Voltage and Mechanical engineering.Attend design team meetings as appropriate.Obtain design information from sub-consultants and equipment suppliers.Produce detailed design information including calculations and draft design drawings.Produce technical reports.Check project specifications and standards for construction.Ensure that the technical and safety standards are maintained in all aspects of design work to achieve successful project implementation and future reliability.Carry out risk assessments and provide design information for Health and Safety management.Minimum RequirementsPrevious experience will be valued if related to these topics:Rail traction power supplyTraction Power substationsProven post-graduate experience (-5 years)Experience on LV&MEP design for railway systemsExperience on LV design software such as ETAP, CANECO, AMTECHFamiliarity with European and American standardsProficiency in English and SpanishPreferred QualificationsElectrical engineerWhat We OfferWhen you join AECOM, you become part of a company that is pioneering the future.
