The Social Media Editor for Spain will be the voice for TikTok in the market.
Working closely with the Social Lead for EMEA, ES XFN colleagues, and the social agency, they will be responsible for creating, coordinating, and publishing compelling content and copy across TikTok ES's owned and operated social media channels.The role spans two key functions - the first, and the majority of daily work, will focus on amplifying TikTok's content, community, and product via reactive social posts, working closely with XFN stakeholders and our social agency to ensure we are aligned on key trends, creators, and product updates for the market.
The second part of the role will be working closely with the ES MKT team to advise on best practices for social media campaigns.The ES Editor will be a social media expert, understanding all aspects of organic social, and how to deploy every format tactically to drive earned media, follower growth, and re-engagements.
They will also be obsessed with culture, especially in music, entertainment, sports, and gaming, as well as having a deep understanding of the internet and meme subculture.
Above all, they will have a deep passion for TikTok content, and a strong understanding of the app's ecosystem, content, creators, and what makes the platform unique.Key ResponsibilitiesBrief in agency in daily stand-ups on TikTok trends to activate.Work closely with XFN colleagues to align on key market priorities for social.Work with ES MKT team on key campaigns and roll-outs for the market.Own the ES content calendar across key platforms, and work with the community manager on content calendar and schedule, alongside daily community management (replying to user support queries and engaging with key figures on social).Flawless execution of social media content marketing from checking and checking again all copy and content, to ongoing testing and improving via social media publishing tools.The expert in social media, understand every feature in paid and organic social and be a champion for innovation in the team.Fountain of knowledge for the team, constantly sharing things that should make us jealous from other brands and industries.Metric obsessive, one eye on all key KPIs from growth to re-engagements, highlight needs and address them with speed and attention to make sure every single post is a winner.Editorial and social (paid and organic) background a must.Minimum Requirements:At least 2+ years of experience in social.Experience in cultural marketing preferred.Track record of breaking social media stories in real-time.Track record of great social projects which have created conversation and broken into the cultural zeitgeist.Ability to speak/write fluently in English and Spanish.Obsessed with the detail, with strong analytical skills.An expert in social media, across all major platforms.Familiar with TikTok community and shows a deep understanding of the content ecosystem and its role in culture today.Strong project management skills and comfortable in communicating across time zones.TikTok is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives.
