The Scheduling and Planning Specialist shall support the Engineering and Project Teams:Responsible for project schedules including the generation and interpretation of critical path analysis.Provide inputs to the project team during the development and implementation phases of the project to ensure that project activity is planned and delivered in a logical, timely, and effective way.Provide input to ensure project risks are mitigated through the effective scheduling of activities within the project and assist in the creation, analysis, and maintenance of risk management information.Apply recognized tools to assist in the capture, processing, and communication of data.Assist the Engineering team in working with Contractors to refine their schedules to ensure compliance with overall schedule.Ensure that project schedules are accurate, that they reflect the project objectives, are updated in a timely manner and are communicated to the whole team.Produce detailed logic linked project plans in Primavera P6, MS Project and other state of the art Planning applications.Ensure that scheduling standards and processes are in order to support development of offshore wind projects.Undertake scenario planning to support project optimization.Developing break down structures and project master schedules.Providing project planning leadership and support to the project teams.Carrying out risk analysis, weather downtime analysis and delay mitigation analysis. Advise project and team management on risks and opportunities.Creating and maintaining What-If scenarios as required.Provide advice and analysis to the project teams on all planning and scheduling matters.Foster Corporate learning via peer review and project lessons learned transfer.Assist with project specific planning and regional activities during periods of high workload.Build and maintain long-, mid- and short-term activity planning and schedules to support the project.
