Overview: Technical Delivery Consultant: The Technical Delivery Consultant works closely with account teams and customers in solving process and/or information issues within their field of expertise and plays a key role in pre-sales and sales activities with multidisciplinary teams across the business unit by providing focused consultancy offers to customers. The Technical Delivery Consultant is a member of a team as required for product and/or service delivery to generate revenue.
What you will do: Execute consulting methodology and quality in accordance with corporate and regional standards (deliverables, customer satisfaction, technical specifications, various indicators).Contribute to the development of the Operations Airports Portfolio methodology by advertising lessons learnt within the region and supporting the Product groups in developing/driving new capabilities and enhancements.Articulate and prove SITA consulting value proposition to customers by working directly with them to resolve key technical issues and presenting key findings on Airport Operations assessments and recommendations.Deliver as part of Airport Operations assignments and projects to build trusted relationships with customers, demonstrate technical credibility, and obtain field/customer feedback.Develop and run client workshops and manage activities as required to fully enable the customer to realize and implement the benefits of consultancy.Maintain in-depth understanding of the technologies and industry solutions within a given field of expertise while being able to see the 'big picture'.Keep current with new technologies and industry trends.Qualifications: Who you are: Specific experience in at least one area of Airport Operations.At least seven (7) years of Technical consultancy/or Airport Operations experience.Team experience/working in matrix managed organizations.Complex Bid and Proposal management.Experience in managing third parties.Operating at senior levels of customer (IT department heads/Technical experts).Knowledge & Skills: Understanding of Airline Industry IT/Network environment (an advantage).Expert knowledge of Airport Operations area.Education & Qualifications: Telecommunications or IT degree preferred.Consultancy accreditation preferred (e.g., Certificate in Management Consulting Essentials offered by Institute of Business Consulting and the Chartered Management Institute).Project Management qualification preferred.What we offer: SITA's workplace is all about diversity: many different countries and cultures are represented in our workforce, and colleagues who've been working here for decades collaborate with those just out of college and early in their careers.
