Your role
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Facility Manager to oversee comprehensive maintenance and construction efforts at a national and international level.
This role is critical in ensuring the optimal functioning of all facilities, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting the continuous improvement of methods and procedures.
Your JourneyFacility Management: Plan, execute, and supervise the preventive and corrective maintenance of all company properties, ensuring optimal functionality, safety, and guest satisfaction.Construction and Improvement Projects: Oversee construction, renovation, and continuous improvement projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.Technical Expertise: Manage and evaluate all installations (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire systems, etc.
), ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards.Compliance and Inspections: Ensure all facilities comply with local and international regulations, safety standards, and sustainability practices.Supplier and Cost Management: Coordinate qualified suppliers and contractors for various tasks, controlling costs and resolution timelines.Budget Control: Oversee budgets for maintenance and construction projects, identifying cost-saving opportunities while ensuring quality.Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with departments such as operations, revenue, and guest services to align on property needs and priorities.Reporting and Communication: Provide regular updates on maintenance status, project progress, and KPI tracking.What do you bring to your trip?
Languages: Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus.
Experience Level: Senior profile with over 5 years of experience in facility management and construction, preferably in the hospitality sector.
Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of building systems, construction processes, regulatory compliance, and documentation management.
