The Customer Experience Researcher Role The Customer Experience Management team is a cornerstone to ensure our organization understands user needs and manages a set of different journeys and experiences that result in highly successful and loyal customers, while driving technology adoption and securing a successful renewal.
You will be responsible for planning, executing, and following up on research around how our customers/users use and want to use our products, from a usability (ease-of-use) and experience point-of-view.
We also expect you to have knowledge and ideas on how to best conduct the research in a way that scales and provides us with actionable feedback.
What makes this role interesting?
Planning and implementing usability research activities, synthesizing qualitative/quantitative data, and helping to translate insights into actionable recommendations throughout various stages of the user journey design lifecycle.
Designing our Voice of the Customer surveys and creating close cross collaboration with the product researchers to seek alignment.
A hands-on role that includes writing test plans, moderating sessions, writing reports, and delivering findings to not just the designers, but also other stakeholders and C-Level within the company.
Here's how you'll be making an impact Work closely with the Voice of the Customer team, Customer Success Journey Designers, and Analysts to help them assess project needs and develop appropriate research/test plans to support their objectives.
Plan, execute, and follow up usability studies, using both in-person and remote testing methods in close cooperation with Product Design, R&D, and Product Management.
Conduct usability testing with Qlik customers and partners.
Share and present tangible findings and prioritized recommendations with other teams on a regular basis.
Think strategically about incorporating user research best practices into future Qlik customer experience development.
We're looking for a teammate with: 2-5 years' experience in user research and usability analysis.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, User Research or related field.
Proven track record of executing usability studies to evaluate complex workflows across rich software interfaces on desktop, mobile, and the web.
Excellent verbal and written presentation skills to communicate clear, concise findings and actionable recommendations to designers, technologists, project managers, and executives.
Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods such as remote testing, metrics-based testing, survey evaluation, heuristic evaluation, semi-structured interviews, and user-centered design principles.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Understanding of how to work with large data sets is a definite plus.
Ability to effectively work and communicate with colleagues in remote locations, in a multi-national environment between different time zones.
Willingness to do some travel required.
