Intro Paragraph: This is a chance to play a pivotal role in the continued expansion of one of our largest markets. It is a role to build and improve our strategy whilst working with an existing, highly capable international team of industry professionals. The Commercial Director will be key to our strategy and decision-making in the Spanish market, and will utilise creative solutions to ensure continued growth.
Your Job:
Overseeing resourcing and staffing and managing overheads. Building a small team dedicated to the Spanish market.Overseeing staff development and day-to-day team management.Leading a team of 9 subordinates to manage a 2 GW+ pipeline with a target to grow by 25% annually over the next 3-4 years.Strong solar project development experience.Experience leading sizeable teams of development professionals.Technical understanding of solar photovoltaics and familiarity with the process of procurement, construction, and logistics of investment projects.Experience undertaking solar farm development activities - permitting, landowner negotiations, stakeholder engagement, site design, energy yield, budgeting and scheduling, and grid connection.Experience undertaking due diligence for financing.Experience leading SPA and contract negotiations.Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislative changes which impact ib vogt's investments in Spain.Your profile:
At least 12 years' experience as a business developer and experience in managing teams.Minimum of 3 years' experience in a comparable commercial/development role for a renewables developer or investor.Academic degree in engineering or business.Strong interpersonal and intercultural communication skills.Strong analytical skills.Ability to coordinate with internal teams and external clients and partners.Willingness to travel.We offer you:
