Position: As a Works & Property Officer, you will be joining the new Real Estate team. With a portfolio of ~30M€ in France, Belgium, and Italy, Mantu's long-term goal is to strengthen and build a long-term sustainable strategy with its current assets, as well as expand its RE footprint throughout Europe and worldwide. The Works & Property Officer is responsible for overseeing office relocation and fit-out works projects of company-owned and leased properties and facilities. This role involves coordinating work orders, collaborating with contractors, and ensuring that all properties are in excellent condition. Additionally, the Works & Property Officer will be involved in property inspections, budget management, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations together with the office management department. Moreover, you will be responsible for sourcing and analyzing potential lease agreements options for the organization. Your primary goal will be to optimize lease terms, minimize risks, and ensure compliance with legal and financial requirements.
Mission: Property Maintenance/Contractor Management:Schedule and oversee routine maintenance activities for all company-owned and leased properties.Coordinate repairs and renovations as needed to maintain property value and safety.Sourcing of potential local suppliers for the renovation Project.Collaborate with contractors and vendors to obtain quotes and services for property-related work.Office Relocation Management:Collaborate with senior management and relevant stakeholders to define relocation goals, timelines, and budgets.Coordinate logistics related to the move, including packing, transportation, and setup of office equipment, furniture, and supplies.Communicate relocation plans and progress updates to all relevant parties, including employees, department heads, and external partners.Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions during the relocation process.Sourcing for Leasing and Investment Projects:Take into account expressed need from internal clients (Directors).Alongside the Leasing and Investment analyst actively participate in the sourcing of leasing and/or investing projects.Using AI as ChatGPT to fast-track the sourcing.Assist in the development of property maintenance budgets.Documentation/Relationship Management:Maintain accurate records of property-related documents, including leases, permits, and maintenance histories.Build and maintain relationships with lessors, lessees, and other stakeholders.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, business, or a related field (Master's degree or relevant certifications may be preferred).At least 6-month experience in a construction company or industry.Robust in financial modelling (Excel), analysis, and research skills.Strong capabilities in drafting synthetic presentations.Curious, autonomous, and reactive.Excellent organizational and project management skills.Fluency in French and English mandatory.Effective communication skills and ability to work with people from different cultural backgrounds.
