Today, in its area of specialization and category, the institute is consistently ranked among the highest-quality research institutions worldwide.The appointee will work at ICFO's KTT unit, mainly acting as Project Manager of a recently awarded Horizon Europe ambitious project in outreach aimed at boosting career opportunities for students in their undergraduate or master's studies, as well as for early-career researchers within the 360 CARLA project.We are looking for a proactive, motivated, and inspirational individual with a multidisciplinary profile that integrates project management and outreach with a positive attitude. His/her main tasks will include:Managing the communications channels of the project, especially social media, including the design and development of engaging content focused on photonics related sciences.Identifying, developing, executing, and/or coordinating internal and external activities within the projects to ensure that the work plan and milestones are properly fulfilled.Monitoring, reporting, and promoting the project results.Engaging with project stakeholders on a local and European level to secure their ongoing commitment.Organizing networking events and activities such as symposiums, workshops, and visits in the framework of the Horizon Europe project.Proactively coordinating and attending meetings aimed at strengthening links between ICFO and the project partners and stakeholders.Supporting and participating in the outreach activities organized by the team.Working as a part of the ICFO KTT team.The ideal candidate should:Be passionate about the communication of science and technology and their applications.Be proficient in English, Spanish, and Catalan.Have a strong entrepreneurial spirit, and organizational, planning, and analytical skills.Have excellent interpersonal and written and oral communication skills.Have an eye for detail, responsibility, and an eager-to-learn attitude.Show demonstrated ability to perform tasks both independently and as part of a team.Be familiar with universities in the area of Barcelona, especially in STEM studies.Be willing to adapt to a flexible work schedule when needed.Be willing to meet deadlines and follow up on assignments.#J-18808-Ljbffr
