As a Collection Merchandiser, your main objective will be supporting the management of the men's leather goods and accessories categories throughout the collection development process, liaising on a daily basis with the product development team and the design studio. You will be part of our LG & Accessories Collection Merchandising Team based in Madrid and reporting to the Men's Leather Goods Collection Merchandising Manager.
Your role will be:
Work on the preparation of the LG briefs and collection plans.
Defining requests and needs based on qualitative inputs (collection strategy, competitive analyses, market feedback), as well as on quantitative analysis (sell-in and sell-out analyses, sales plan and ambitions).
Working on target price points, mark-ups and analysing the competitors (e.g. product offer, price points, key initiatives).
Follow-up on the development of the collection throughout all the categories, working hand in hand with design and development teams.
Preparing the documents and tools for the monitoring of the collection and costs to reach the target margins.
Providing constant qualitative and quantitative feedback on sales results and supporting the follow up of samples.
Work on the preparation of the buying session, organizing and preparing photo shooting, selling brief and all documents needed for the buying session (line list, collection overviews, etc.).
Present the collection to the teams digitally and physically during the buying session and provide necessary data and support to Retail and Wholesale teams.
Give support to all teams for everything that is product related, providing the right product content and ensure the images and descriptions are correct, giving product highlight and revising web descriptions before publishing the collection.
Profil
What is important for the role:
2-3 years of experience in fashion merchandising/product development.
Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills.
Passionate about fashion.
Proficiency in MS Office Applications and advanced in Excel.
Excellent English & Spanish (written and spoken).
Curious with a positive and can-do attitude; attention to detail.
