The incumbent will coordinate with other functional areas to gather required information and resolve questions or variances. Additionally, the incumbent will be responsible for ensuring compliance of internal control processes.What you'll do:Account Reconciliations:Research and resolves outstanding reconciliation items in a timely mannerReports and escalates issues appropriately and timelyGeneral Accounting:Completes daily and monthly journal entries in an accurate and timely mannerSupports requests for information from internal managementPerforms monthly balance sheet analysis on variances as assignedDocuments processes and proceduresAudit and SOX:Creates audit schedules for internal and external auditors as requestedCoordinates with operations, finance and/or other groups to answer audit questionsEnsures SOX compliance by monitoring daily and monthly documented controlsDocuments any changes to SOX flowcharts and matricesPerforms special projects or other duties as assigned.What we're looking for:Education: Degree in accounting or related field.Experience: 2 - 3 years accounting experience. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.Essential Skills:Excellent PC skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Experience with Oracle Financials, preferred.Background in multi-currency.Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Fluent English.Effective oral and written communication.Ability to organize and manage time to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy.Ability to innovate and improve processes.Ability to work independently and make judgments in order to minimize exposure or risk to the company.Why you will love working here:Your future is in your hands.
