IT Network and Support Engineer en Baleares.E3 Systems specialises in providing IT and telecommunications solutions for Superyachts. We think of these yachts as floating offices that we need to support.We are looking for an IT Network and Support Engineer to join our team of IT and Communications specialists. The job will be based in Mallorca; however, you will also be required to travel to yachts and shipyards in other yachting centers mainly in Europe but occasionally further afield.Job Description:Installation of IT and network hardware on yachts.Basic cabling and installing hardware/rack building.Configuration of IT and Network products and technologies.Support of e3 customers IT and network systems. Onsite troubleshooting and diagnosis of faults and issues.Site surveys hardware information gathering and pre-installation documentation of customer systems.Creating and maintaining e3 IT/Network documentation using e3 standards and templates.Providing IT/Network support in the Support Operations Centre (SOC).Assisting with the server and network maintenance schedules as defined in our IT/Network support contracts.Assisting the sales team with pre-sales technical support when needed.Helping promote e3's products and services wherever possible.Essential Requirements:Cisco CCNA or CCNP qualification and/or 2+ years demonstrable experience of installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Cisco network and Microsoft server environments.Field engineer experience with a background in Systems Administration.Experience and willingness to be hands-on with running and terminating cabling.Excellent documentation skills and familiarity with project planning procedures.Good customer service skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.Must be willing to travel at short notice and possess a valid EU passport and full EU driving license.Resident or citizen of an EU country and able to start without requiring any visa or work permit.Desirable requirements:Microsoft SQL server experience.Autocad/Freecad or MS Visio experience.Experience with mobile communication networks and configuration of 4/5G routers.Experience working with marine or land VSAT or other satellite communication systems.Additional European languages would be an advantage.Remuneration package:Excellent salary related to experience.Other benefits include laptop, phone, bonus benefits, and overseas working allowance (upon completion of probation period).Manufacturer certified training courses will also be provided as and when necessary.Cisco, 89531e6f62ca83ebb348#J-18808-Ljbffr
