Redstone Legal, Risk & Compliance Search is working with a European payment institution who is looking for a Legal & Compliance Manager to set up a new desk in Spain.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks Be the point of contact for all legal and compliance matters for Spain.
Control the regulations reporting and be the local representative for regulators and external third parties.
Assist in opening accounts for clients, providing help and responding to queries.
Manage the risk responsibilities, reporting, and mitigating potential exposures.
Role reports into CEO based in Luxembourg.
Key Qualifications / Experience 5+ years' experience in financial legal or compliance (AML) positions within financial institutions.
Strong knowledge of local and European legal regulations.
Fluency in English is mandatory; fluency in French is advantageous.
Must have a driven, entrepreneurial mindset.
The role will be based in Spain (location flexible).
