Job Requisition ID # 22WD59065 Position Overview As the Business Analyst LC, you will be part of the License Compliance Analytics team within Global License Compliance Sales.
Our team is instrumental in supporting the global organization by detecting and addressing non-compliant usage of Autodesk's software.
We are a strong partner for both the data science & engineering team, as well as for the customer-facing LC sales teams; we build the bridge between data and business.

In this role, your primary focus is to analyze complex datasets and deliver meaningful insights into customer behavior and addressable potential.
You will work closely with sales management to understand their needs and how to turn ideas into actionable data.
As a secondary focus, you will be responsible for executing recurring operational processes established by the Business Analytics team to support the Sales Business.
You will be partnering closely with other analysts, data engineers, as well as sales managers.
To be successful and impactful in the role, you need to be able to understand business questions in the same way as you understand data and analytical methods.
You need to have a high degree of accountability, pragmatism, and adaptability.
Many times, you will explore new data sets, so you also need to be able to find creative solutions for challenging data-oriented questions.
The position reports to the Manager LC Business Analytics.
Responsibilities Plan and execute own analytical projects Collect business requirements from a variety of internal stakeholders Explore, query, and transform large datasets of customer and transactional data Summarize, visualize, and communicate your findings in clear and concise business language Prepare and present meaningful analysis and data insights to a diverse audience of stakeholders Support recurring operational processes Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and data product owners to discuss the approach and to gain understanding of the data Minimum Qualifications 3+ years of relevant experience as a data analyst, business data analyst, or similar field Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy Solid understanding of business processes in sales or marketing, preferably at an international software or similar high-tech company Proactive working style with an ability to find creative solutions to data-oriented problems Experience with independently solving problems in the field of business analytics Experience in transforming data with scripting tools such as Python or visual tools like Alteryx Experience using SQL to extract data from data warehouses, such as Snowflake Experience in creating effective dashboards with business intelligence systems such as PowerBI or Tableau Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal Ability to manage long-term projects, operational processes, and ad hoc requests in parallel At Autodesk, we're building a diverse workplace and an inclusive culture to give more people the chance to imagine, design, and make a better world.
