The Global Strategic Marketing (GSM) Wound Closure & Healing and Biosurgery Portfolio Strategy Manager will provide leadership to a cross-functional team responsible for developing and implementing market transition strategies. These strategies will drive the evolution of the global Wound Closure & Healing and Biosurgery portfolio, in line with the Platform's portfolio optimization strategy. The Portfolio Strategy Manager will regularly engage with regional and country/market leaders to develop and implement local strategies aligned with our global capabilities. The manager will collaborate closely with supply chain planners and value stream leaders to ensure accurate forecasting and effective capacity planning. Additionally, the manager will establish partnerships with members of the R&D, Supply Chain, and Regulatory teams, focusing on crucial aspects such as code creation, product registration, and launch strategy.
Key Responsibilities: Support global portfolio management for the Wound Closure & Healing and Biosurgery portfolios.
Provide global leadership to a cross-functional team focused on end-to-end project completion, including leadership of weekly core team calls and occasional in-person meetings.
Educate regional and local markets on program strategies and partner with them to adapt global strategy to local market dynamics.
Connect with customers to understand their needs to facilitate smooth portfolio transitions.
Collaborate with commercial and supply chain partners to develop accurate demand forecasts.
Partner with Global and Regional Marketing teams to shape Long Range Portfolio Plan (LRPP) and Long Range Financial Plan (LRFP).
Ensure applicable company compliance with all relevant country and regional requirements, company regulations, policies and procedures.
Regularly review and update program documentation on SharePoint.
Leverage program dashboard, weekly calls, and ad-hoc meetings to collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure objectives remain on track.
Provide regular updates to sponsors.
Qualifications Required: Minimum requirement of a BS/BA degree, with a preference for a Master's degree.
6+ years of progressive business experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
Proficiency in MS Office software.
Preferred: Previous experience in a marketing or sales role within the healthcare industry.
Previous experience in the Wound Closure and/or Biosurgery business.
People management experience.
Experience in managing multiple demands and priorities, leading teams, and driving decision alignment.
Excellent collaboration, communication, and influencing skills in a global matrixed organization.
Interpersonal flexibility to effectively partner with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills with excellent business insight and strategic thinking, as well as the ability to translate ideas into action.
Previous project management experience.
Certification in Six Sigma/Process Excellence and/or Project Management/PMP/FPX.
Other: This position will require up to 25% domestic and international travel. Occasionally, this position will require non-traditional hours to support markets in different time zones.
