Role Mission
As the Head of SEO at Sortlist, your mission will be to spearhead our global organic growth initiatives by crafting and executing a high-impact SEO strategy that aligns with Sortlist's overarching business goals. This role requires a strategic leader who excels in driving organic visibility across multiple languages and regions while maintaining a balance between visionary thinking and hands-on technical expertise.
As Head of SEO you will lead a global team, integrating technical SEO, content strategy, and off-page optimization to maximize organic visibility across all target markets. The ideal candidate will be a data-driven decision-maker, capable of navigating complex international SEO challenges, fostering collaboration across regions, and consistently delivering measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a robust SEO strategy that aligns with Sortlist's business goals. Drive significant organic growth across all regions and ensure a cohesive global approach.
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of SEO specialists. Ensure high performance and continuous development of team members' skills.
Global & Local Synergy: Balance global SEO objectives with local market nuances. Ensure that strategies are effectively adapted and executed in each target country.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Content teams to integrate SEO best practices. Drive collaboration across departments to ensure SEO is embedded in all digital initiatives.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize advanced SEO tools and analytics to monitor performance and identify opportunities. Make informed decisions that drive organic growth based on data and trends.
Innovation & Trends: Stay ahead of the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates. Continuously refine strategies to maintain Sortlist's competitive edge in search rankings.
Your Profile
Experience: 5-10 years of experience in SEO, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Deep understanding of site architecture, crawlability, page speed, mobile optimization, and handling technical audits.
