We make our mark by embracing the diversity of our global team, challenging ourselves, and striving to make a difference for our players.We are looking for an ambitious and hands-on HR Payroll Administrator to join our Spain HR Team, supporting the Spanish market to deliver a great employee experience consistent with our brand.This role will require lots of collaboration with remotely based employees and other stakeholders.
This will be an exciting and fast-paced role working with the leadership teams in a high change environment but also providing first line HR support to our teams.
Sitting within the HRBP pillar of the wider People Department, there will be lots of opportunity for growth, development and involvement in project work as part of the Bally's family as we create engaging experiences for our people and customers alike.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibility for a variety of processes, but also stepping up to support the wider Commercial Unit's HR Managers, if and when required.Developing and maintaining good working relationships with employees, responding to any queries or problems and proactively managing expectations - making suggestions for the department, where appropriate too.Being the first point of contact for Spanish-based employees, regarding any People-related processes.Process new starter activities including, but not limited to, drafting employment contracts, conducting right to work checks in line with legal requirements, creating employee records on our HRIS and liaising with wider teams such as Facilities and IT for IDs and company equipment.Supporting with recruitment and keeping our talent acquisition planning on track.Process and administer changes of employment (such as salary, working hours, job title and team changes) ensuring these are submitted accurately on our HRIS, approved and paperwork is issued in a timely manner.Facilitate and run Spain new starter inductions.Administer and manage employee benefits and other company perks including processing monthly joiners and leavers, checking and processing invoices, updating trackers, communicating with external benefit providers and assisting the launch of new benefits.Act as a local data custodian, ensuring all data is accurate and kept up to date within the HR System including but not limited to personal information, job information changes and leave of absence.Manage all HR files in line with legislative standards.Drive continuous improvements within HR systems and processes.Process leaver administration including, but not limited to, processing terminations on our HRIS, termination paperwork, calculating payments such as holiday or deductions, arranging exit interviews, ending employee benefits and coordinating courier for company equipment.Conduct exit interviews feeding information back into the business and suggesting and executing any actions which need addressing.Manage any visa/immigration related queries; onboarding, updating sponsorship information.Work collaboratively with the central HR Admin and Operations function, to ensure that HR Payroll policies, processes, information and systems are optimised and accurate.Proactively update the HRIS system so that accurate reports and visibility can be given to key stakeholders, being mindful of confidential or sensitive situations.Work with the team to support with cyclical activities including; onboarding, offboarding, performance and salary reviews.Support the Head of HR with generating and accurately filing reports, employee comms and org charts for change projects, and other adhoc projects.Payroll control for Spanish employees, working hand to hand with external companies, and fulfilling with Spanish regulation and group policies.
Control of working hours and other requirements.Preparation of all employee correspondence including contracts of employment and variation letters, as well as any local reporting requirements to the Government and tax office.The PersonYou will need to be a fluent English and Spanish speaker and have flexibility for some travel to other sites e.g.
Ceuta/Barcelona, London ad hoc when required by the business to do so.
The role will require strong prioritisation skills and you will need to share the HR Team's passion for delivering excellent customer service.
