We provide analytical services to debtors, creditors and other stakeholders of companies experiencing unfavourable situations arising from liquidity problems, over-leverage, under-performance, right-sizing or other business transition issues.Key Responsibilities:Day-to-day project management of the engagement involving:Assisting in the structuring of the engagement approach, scope and deliverablesManaging the team to address the scope within the required timeframe and budgetCommunicating with the external stakeholders to keep them appraised of progress, initial observations, and issuesCoaching and addressing the issues/problems faced by the junior team membersForming initial views and opinions on the engagement to debate with either lead Managing Director or Senior Managing DirectorTaking responsibility for producing and delivering the client a substantial element of the deliverableTake a lead role in business development activities, such as:Organising client relationship building eventsContributing to thought leadership presentations and eventsPreparation and participation in formal pitchesOn the job coaching of our teamPreparation and participation in training activitiesBuilding and sharing personal relationship networksEducation and Qualifications:- ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified (1st time passes)Skills and Competencies:Ability to work in a meritocratic structure which recognizes and rewards individual contributionExcellent report writing and analytical skillsGood knowledge of Excel and manipulation/analysis of diverse data setsSelf-starter and inquisitiveTeam playerStrong relationship management skillsStrong influencing and partnering skillsStrong communication skills both written and spokenAbility to manage time and prioritise tasks effectivelyAdditional foreign language desirable (ideally Northern European)Results orientatedStrong leadership skillsExperience:5+ years post qualification experienceRelevant corporate restructuring experience either on behalf of creditors or distressed corporatesStarting to develop a professional network which is relevant to the London restructuring marketBusiness development and revenue generation experience is essential for Director and aboveExperience in delivering and managing restructuring/advisory workExperience of managing teamsPrevious experience in report writing and/or drafting sections of larger reportsExperience of discussing and presenting findings to either clients, other stakeholders or senior internal team members #J-18808-Ljbffr
