The Industrial & Specialty segment is made up of: Industrial (MacDermid Enthone), Graphics (MacDermid Graphics) and Energy (MacDermid Offshore) businesses.Job Purpose: This position shall manage corporate secretarial function for ESI's subsidiaries worldwide and provide, if needed and upon request depending on the workload on the corporate affairs side, some support to regional counsels to handle and review basic commercial agreements.Responsibilities: This role includes liaising with regional counsel to ensure ESI and its subsidiaries stay in good standing. To this end, the EMEA Legal Secretary - Corporate Affairs shall ensure that all documents are filed on time with the appropriate government agencies and local authorities, such as the appointment and removal of directors and officers, filing declarations regarding UBO, or documents regarding permits and permissions needed by the local ESI's subsidiaries, filing annual accounts and registrations. The EMEA Legal Secretary - Corporate Affairs shall also be responsible for maintaining databases regarding the legal entities and their respective directors and officers. The position shall prepare and track power of attorneys, seek internal approval in granting, and keep these updated and where appropriate have such documents filed with government agencies.Education and Experience:Degree in law from a recognized European university.Minimum 5 years of experience in handling similar matters.Ability to manage complex legal responsibilities autonomously.Strong organizational and relational skills to liaise with senior management and colleagues.Predisposition to work under pressure and in balancing priorities within a heavy workload environment.Effectiveness in coordinating, managing, and achieving objectives.Sharp analytical mind.Dynamic, eye for detail, well organized, results-oriented & efficient.English fluent knowledge is mandatory.
