We are looking for a Chief Product Officer (CPO) to join our client, a leading global technology company that specializes in providing Digital Products and services for the Freight and Logistics industry.
They are in the middle of an ambitious transformation and growth plan to bring freight online and become the world's largest global freight marketplace.
Their offering includes various enterprise SaaS products (marketplaces) and data subscription services, designed to streamline supply chain processes (air, ocean, and road).
The Offer: Permanently contract directly with the end client Very attractive retribution package Flexible hybrid-remote work (offices in Barcelona) Medical insurance Flexible benefits package Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) The job: The CPO will be responsible for leading the Product Management and Research & Development (R&D) teams, playing a critical role in shaping the future of product strategy, product portfolio, innovation, and ensuring that all products meet the evolving customer needs, as well as ensuring quality, productivity, and adoption of best practices.
This position reports directly to the CEO and is a key member of the executive leadership team.
Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a cohesive product strategy that aligns with the company's vision, mission, and business goals.
Lead the product management and R&D teams to innovate and expand our product offerings. Product Development: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch, evaluation, and iteration.
Ensure products are delivered on time, within budget, and exceed market expectations. Team Management: Lead, mentor, and grow the product management and R&D teams across multiple locations.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. Market Insights: Stay abreast of industry trends, market demands, and competitive landscape to inform product strategy.
Incorporate customer feedback and data analytics into product development to enhance user experience and satisfaction.
Ensure best practices including the use of AI and converging our various products (including those from acquisitions) to a single product stack.
